Seborrheic Keratosis
Home Seborrheic Keratosis

Seborrheic keratoses are common, benign skin growths that appear during adult life. The tendency to develop seborrheic keratoses is often inherited. These spots grow slowly, are not caused by sunlight and do not become malignant. Seborrheic keratoses begin as slightly raised, light brown spots with gradual thickening and take on a rough, warty surface and slowly darken.

Treatment Options: Seborrheic Keratoses are only cosmetic and do not require treatment. If desired, the Seborrheic Keratosis can be removed surgically.
